Ruth Rickey, CMSA

Ruth is becoming recognized as one of the top instructors in the United States and, this fall, Canada.  She teaches at Mini Class Events, at Days of Sharing, at local cake shops and at Cake Competitions and Shows.  She teaches on a wide variety of subjects and is known as a fun, energetic teacher that makes it easy to learn.  You can read Ruth's entire bio/history here.

 You've asked and Ruth has cleared her schedule for a two day gumpaste class here in OKC!!  You can take one or both days and Ruth will be supplying everything for the class - you just show up with a smile, ready to learn to make gorgeous, lifelike flowers!  You will be working with Platinum Paste gumpaste, which Ruth swears by; you will learn Ruth's dusting techniques using her Beginning Dusting Kit and Beginning Luster Kit and you will have the opportunity to purchase any cutters, veiners, dusting kits you like following the class.  This way, you get to "try it before you buy it"!! 

Each day we will make the flowers listed below.  If time permits, you will also learn greenery and filler flowers each day.  Ruth has opted to teach you more flowers in each day than to work on one pretty arrangement from each day with fewer flowers.  We will still try to send everything home looking lovely for display for your brides or family.

 You can opt to take ONLY day one or day two for $175. 

Day One:  Peony, Tulip, Anemone, Ivy

Day Two:  Hibiscus, Alstromeria, Hydrangea & Cosmos
