Announcing Upcoming Classes:

 July &August Classes

We are pleased to announce that Ruth will be teaching a two day gumpaste flower class in July and that we will have 5 guest instructors during the last weekend of August 2011.  These instructors will all be competing in the Live Cake Decorating Challenge held during Tour de Palate - a culinary and wine tasting event on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 7 pm at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum - benefiting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

The Oklahoma Sugar Art Academy was founded in 2006 by Ruth Rickey.  The Academy used to hold classes periodically at Ruth's Sweete Justice. Since the closing of Ruth's Sweete Justice Bakery, a new class location has not been determined.  In the meantime, you can click here to see where else Ruth is teaching.

The Academy mostly hosts internationally recognized teachers from across the United States.  These classes are generally for the person with basic to advanced cake decorating and gum paste background.
